March 16th, 2017 marked the 14th anniversary of the Israeli killing of American activist Rachel Corrie in Rafah, south of the Gaza strip. Rachel Corrie, who came to Rafah from Olympia, Washington, was an American peace activist connected to the International Solidarity Movement who had worked very hard to prevent Israeli demolitions of Palestinian houses in Rafah. Two months into her campaign, she was killed when an IDF armored bulldozer deliberately ran over her.

On this occasion, we remember Rachel Corrie and all those who have died to protect our human rights and call on the international community and the United States to stop shielding Israel and its repeated crimes and perpetual human rights violations.
